is there an animal called a dildo

I remember while growing up, I often heard stories about “dildo” animals, but all my friends just kind of shrugged and laughed when I asked about it. It made me really curious as to what kind of creature it could be. Was it a real animal or something made up? So, I decided to do some research of my own and here’s what I found out.

To start it off, it turns out that there is no such animal called a dildo. The only creature even close to being one, is actually the binturong, which can look similar to a large cat. The binturong is sometimes nicknamed the “dildo cat” due to its size and thick coat of fur. Despite the nickname, the binturong is not asexual and definitely not a dildo!

I was kind of relieved that there wasn’t an actual animal named after the word “dildo”. Sure, dildos it would have been fun to be seeing them out in the wild, but I had this feeling that it wouldn’t quite be right. It just seems like a name that shouldn’t be given to any living creature. That being said, my curiosity didn’t stop there. I wanted to know more about why this term got associated with the binturong in the first place.

It turns out that centuries ago, the binturongs were used as a tool for medicinal purposes by certain cultures. These cultures believed that the animal’s internal organs, when ground up together, could be used to treat diseases and other ailments. So, as the story goes, a medicine man sent out one of his pupils to go and find the binturong. But when the pupil returned with the animal, he referred to it as a “dildo” and sex dolls the mistake stuck with its name ever since.

So, even though there is no animal called a dildo, the binturong admittedly shares a lot of similarities with it. Because of this, I think the best way to describe the binturong is as a “dildo-like cat”. The binturong is definitely an interesting creature in its own right, and I recommend anyone looking to learn more about it to do a bit of research of their own.

I went back to talking to my friends about the “dildo” creature, and most of them had no idea it wasn’t real. That’s when the stories started up again, and we all had a good laugh. Even though the binturong was not actually a dildo, it still gave us all a bit of a thrill just talking about it.

Now, if only the binturong had that kind of reputation in the wild! The truth is that these days they’re in serious danger of becoming extinct if more people don’t take steps to help them out. Maybe if they start being known as the “dildo-like cats” it’ll inspire more people to take a closer look at them and give them the help they need.

So, even though there’s no actual animal called a dildo out there, I’m still glad that I was able to do some research and found out what the binturong was all about. It’s an animal that deserves more attention and help, and I’m sure that if more people knew about it, there would be more support for its protection and conservation.

I think it’s time we stopped thinking of the binturong as a “dildo”, and start looking at it the way it should be seen — an amazing creature with a unique look and a bit of mystery. After all, that’s the stuff that makes a species interesting, isn’t it?
